Marriages

She's is being decorated like a showpiece,

Inside her, there is fear and no peace.

Her make-up and dress are perfect,

All this for who may be not perfect.

But since she's a girl, She has no option,

No doubt marriages in India are an auction.

Her opinions weren't considered ever,

Now, she is going to be somebody else's forever.

Ask her once, is she even ready yet?

Don't be so late that you can just regret.

She maybe different from others,

All girls just don't dream of becoming a mother.

Take a chance, ask her, for this is no  risk,

Marrying to someone she is not ready can be a major risk.

Stop worrying about what people will say,

Don't treat marriages as a mere child's play.

Ruining her life won't make your happy ever,

Seeing her cry will make you regret forever.

I love u, Papa

With him around, Life was a cake walk,

Because of him, happiness was always in stock.

He was around like a thick protection cover,

He protected me from all possible thunder.

When muma was harsh, he acted as a barrier,

When life was throwing pebbles, he brought happiness courier.

The support he offered and the care he did,

With all that sweet little candies brought tears in eyelids.

I remember the scooter rides standing in front,

Staring at the world like an underworld.

He never felt I am nagging him,

Listening to my silly questions he had a big grin.

And when he is on his way to find a care- taker,

Papa, I want you to know, you are the best saviour.

You Fooled Me..

You fooled me in every possible way,

I know, I was always an easy prey.

You left me lonely when you were needed the most,

The past still haunts me like a ghost.

You made me watch silly dreams,

But, actually, you were fooling by all means.

You made me feel like a tissue paper,

Now, I know I was just another water vapour.

You have left beautiful memories,

I wish you could understand my misery.

You have no heart it seems,

I behaved like I was in my teens.

You may have even forgotten me,

But, don't forget, Karma won't let you flee.
